Alison House was our venue in November. Again they provided us with a good food selection on the menu, the portions were more than ample and at a very reasonable price. Before the meal we utilized the lounge before going into the Restaurant.
Richard Wood came in his 1927 WO Bentley, 3 new members; Glyn Brown with his Spirit and Jane Walton and Gary Dowling came in their Shadow.
Between the Main and the Sweets, Martin Carnell gave a talk about the 2018 London to Brighton Run, where Martin was driving a 1902 Renault and his son Zorran was driving a 1903 Rambler Unfortunately Martin's car 'failed to proceed' after 46 miles with the clutch breaking. Zorran managed to get to the finish line at 16:15 which is very close as the cut off point for this punctuality medal, which was 16:30.
Martin also competed in the 2019 London to Brighton run. He completed the run but arrived too late to collect his punctuality medal. (We are all jealous of Martin's adventures - editor).
